Although it's difficult to tell from first sight, the upper for the Arkesden SPZL is actually from the Spezial legend known as the Lacombe. The material has changed from leather to suede, and proper stripes have been added. The shoe sits on a dark Campus midsole, giving it a bit of extra height compared to other gum options. For the tongue, the woven patch branding inspired by the Canadian Gazelle has been used.
