1985 Gazelle re-issue hit the site with three new colourways

We're keeping things simple this Bank Holiday Monday with the focus solely going on the wonderful Gazelle 85, a trainer plucked straight from the archive. We've added some variation through three great colourways, all of which are full of vibrancy and have been paired with a white secondary colour.

Lesser-known Gazelle are re-issued

For all those in the know about the three stripes, it's well documented just how many different variations of original Gazelle were produced. Some of which really varied in design, and in the case of the Gazelle '85' the midsole is the difference maker. The upper is similar to the commonly seen '91' model, but the midsole is thicker and the foxing is slightly smoother.

When comparing to other recent Gazelle re-issues, it's worth nothing these Gazelle 85 pairs all feature a premium pigskin suede upper, rather than the synthetic suede that has been more commonly used in latter releases. The Gazelle labelling is always something that has shifted around a bit from pair to pair, and for this model the metallic gold side writing has been used like on the original model.

The colourways we're stocking were all part of the original batch released back at the start of the year. The look has stayed consistent across all three pairs, with the only real change in colour being the suede upper. The heel tab, stripes and inner lining are all made from a premium leather, which again isn't necessarily something you get from other recent Gazelle re-issues.
