A marathon of runners with the Racing 1 and New York

Two sets of two this week with a couple of new pairs of Racing 1 added to the site, alongside a restock of two popular New York colourways. Both models are firmly established in the vintage runner scene, and are two of the highlights of 2021 so far.

Racing 1 'Malmo'

The first of our two Racing 1 pairs is this yellow version, which we can only assume is inspired by the Malmo City Series trainer. Yellow and blue has always been a popular combination in the trainer world, so putting them on a pair of Racing is a no brainer.

Racing 1 'London'

Another pair of Racing inspired by a classic City Series colourway, this pair has used the London colourway. The shoe itself is mostly made up of a textile upper and oversized suede overlays. Arguably the most noticeable thing about the design is the thick rubber sole, which is designed for greater comfort and durability.

'Taxi' back for another ride

The New York 'Taxi' edition is one of our favourite colourways of New York ever, and the attention to detail on this pair is wonderful. The inner lining is quilted to replicate the feeling of being inside an actual New York Taxi, and the colourway speaks for itself.

And finally.. more 2021 New York

The second restock of New York this week is the recently launched grey/mint pair. Very similar to one of the original 1980s colourways, the grey stripes have been ditched for this subtle green shade.
