Late summer favourites including more BW Army and adidas Japan OG

After the colourful mix of new additions last week, we've made a U-turn for the new collection this week with mostly neutral colours for the four new pairs. Model wise, it's all about the BW Army and the Japan OG W, which both have two brand new colourways. It's also a great week for the leather trainer fans as three of four have premium full leather uppers.

Bring on the BW

After adding a couple of colourways in the last few months, we're bringing even more variation to the BW Army game with a new black pair and another white version. In both cases, they have the nice feature of a cracked leather stripe, which has appeared in various forms across the BW Army range.

If you weren't aware, the BW in BW Army stands for Bundeswehr, which is the term used to describe Germany's defence forces. Once that has been made clear, it then makes more sense that these trainers are inspired by old German Army footwear, which have made the transition into everyday footwear for the masses.

Suede Japan

Our only bit of suede this week comes in the form of the adidas Japan W, which has the unusual feature of both suede and a non-white colour. Instead the shoe has a nice 'clay' coloured upper, which is a warm grey colour with a hint of green. With both the new models of Japan, they are from the women's collection but the sizing is the same as men's; order your normal size and they will fit fine.

And finally.. more commonly seen Japan

The second new pair of adidas Japan look a bit more like the iterations we've stocked previously, which has a nice tumbled leather upper and suede stripes. The secondary colour on this design is one of the more vibrant options, as the stripes purple and the heel tab is slightly lighter and therefore more like a traditional pink.
