It's another big week of additions with the amazing New York 'Taxi' joining us, the first of the new styles of New York for 2021. Staying in the U.S, we've restocked all three colourways of Jonah Hill's Samba, added a fresh Gazelle Vintage and restocked a 2020 Padiham colourway. If that's not enough to keep you entertained then maybe come back next week for a rather Spezial update..
Splash out on a Taxi
Undoubtedly one of the best colourways we've seen on the New York just happens to be the most iconic, as this pair has come straight from the city itself. The classic yellow and black colourway has close attention to detail too, with a leather lining similar to the inside of a taxi, and a red heel tab to symbolise rear break lights.
Triple threat of Samba
Now for three pairs we had in stock earlier this year. Famous US actor Jonah Hill teamed up with Adidas to create three models of Samba, which all have some unique features to set them apart. One of the more noticeable differences is the very thick pair of laces, which have been inspired by the skate park.
The other big change is the graffiti-style writing by the stripes, which has certainly divided opinion among Samba enthusiasts! The stitching around the heel tab is also different, plus only having one upper colour is quite rare for a Samba.
Some details are more familiar however. The soft leather upper and suede overlays are both fantastic, as is the gum midsole which has been matched to the upper colour in all three pairs. The colour palette is also top-draw; colourful without being too crazy.
Fluffy Suede Gazelle
Now for another of those fantastic Gazelle Vintage models. This time we've got a light red and black pair, which really catches the eye. The regular fluffy suede is the star of the show, and has been matched with a not-so regular smooth leather tongue, which is different to usual Gazelle tongue.
Asymmetric Padiham
One of the stars of last summer is back again, this time in a much wider range of sizes. The blush green Padiham feature an asymmetric design, with the stripe and heel tab colours switched around between the left and right shoe.
