SL 72 collaboration work, Gazelle 85 duo and more Kick

It's another mixed bag this week with four brand new models added to the site, which in general have a summery feel to them as spring is starting to heat up. The apparel brand Sporty & Rich are back again with their take on the SL 72, we've got both models of the mint and sand Gazelle 85, alongside a new suede model of the K 74 (more commonly known as the adidas Kick).

Swedish style SL 72

Most of the collaboration work by Sporty & Rich has centred around high quality classics such as the white leather Samba and Stan Smith, but towards the end of 2024 they ventured out into vintage running. They released two models of SL 72 with blue and yellow colourways, this one being the blue nylon version. As with all their models there's a premium feel to them compared to the standard SL 72.

Get Kicking

We've only stocked one version of the K 74 since the re-issue came about last year, so it's a welcome addition to the site to bring in our second pair, the green and burgundy model. Traditionalists may scowl at the suede upper rather than the traditional leather, but the material works just as well especially with a non-white/black colourway.

Fresh Handball Spezial

Another new Handball Spezial colourway might not be the most exciting news you've ever heard, but this fresh colourway is a nice spring addition that's only just hit the shelf nationally. The 'aluminium' suede upper is more of a light grey than white, and features a nice fluffy finish alongside the green leather stripes.

And finally.. a reverse Gazelle 85

The mind/sand version of Gazelle 85 has been available on site for a couple of months now, but it only seemed fair that we added the sand/mint pair at some point. That moment is now, and unsurprisingly the shoe is exactly the same other than the reversing of the colours.

To keep you on your toes we've also added a few more sizes of the mint/sand model, which was getting low in availability. Unlike most the Gazelle 85 models from 2023 and 2024, these two feature a gum midsole rather than white, as well as a full suede tongue.
