SL 72 RS in a crowd of Bermuda

It's all about the Bermuda this week, with both of the Cordura pairs arriving on site, as well as restocks for two of the more orthodox suede models. The odd pair out is the introduction of the SL 72 RS, a fantastic new take on the classic SL 72 design.

Bermuda in Cordura

The use of the Cordura material is slowly taking over the adidas range, with another silhouette having a couple of releases with the modern textile. Designed to be extra durable and made for all weather eventualities, Cordura has previously been seen as a replacement to suede on other models such as the AS 520 and Handball Spezial.

As well as the standout blue colourway, we've also added the alternative brown colour combination that also features a Cordura upper. In both cases, the colour palette has been kept quite narrow by featuring two shades of the same main colour, which has also been incorporated into the midsole.

RS for the SL

The SL 72 is already a well-loved classic, and for 2024 there's an altered version proving to be just as popular as the original. The main feature behind the RS version is the slightly thicker midsole, which is noticeable without being too crazy. The gold box lettering is also a new addition compared to the normal SL 72 model released this time round.

And finally.. restock of more conventional Bermuda

The Cordura material may be taking over, but there will always be plenty of suede around so long as adidas have any sense. The beige colourway were part of the original trio of Bermuda launched back in 2023, when the silhouette made their re-appearance for the first time in a few years.

The final colourway is the purple and white model, which is always a popular combination. Unlike the above beige pair, the purple version has white leather stripes rather than the velour style material.
