DASSLERESALES

Special edition Earlham and a tale of two Cities

We've gone all leathery this week with three lovely leather models entering our store rooms, including two from the 2021 City Series collection. Alongside the Earlham 'Tsitsipas' edition there's also a trip back to the 1990s with an iconic re-issue from the EQT collection.

Tennis classics for a modern star

The Adidas Earlham have got vintage tennis written all over them, and Adidas have used that to their advantage by teaming up with Greek youngster Stefanos Tsitsipas, to give him a signature shoe. The model is based on the Greek flag, and includes other nods to the sportsman such as his name on the gold stripe lettering, rather than the usual 'Earlham'.

To Lyon, the heart of French industry

Next on the megabus tour around Europe is Lyon, which is one of few City Series trainers to not have a modern re-issue thus far. That all changed with the release of this 2021 pair, which features a blue leather upper and white midsole. Although the midsole is the same as the Barcelona and Madrid, the shoe is actually closer in design to the Trimm Trab due to the toe-box shape.

More sizes of Kopenhagen in stock

The other City Series model this week is the Kopenhagen, which has always been a popular choice whenever we've had availability. The shoe itself has an all leather upper and gum midsole, which is slightly chunkier than the normal flat version used for most City trainers.

And finally.. iconic EQT trainers

We haven't stocked a whole lot of EQT trainers over the years.. until now! These are the recently re-issued Consortium Support 93, which were launched as part of the 30th Anniversary celebration of the Equipment range. Known for their comfort and adaptability, the EQT range was a big hit in the 90s and continues to be so today.
