The 2022 Spezial round-up pt. 1

To finish off the year of 2022 we're bringing in our favourite adidas collection, the exclusive Spezial range. We've got quite a lot to bring you so it's going to be spread over this week and next, so it's well worth keeping a close eye on next week's post as well. This week is mostly about the trainers from SS22, plus a few sizes of the wonderful Carnforth.

A new city, the Warszawa SPZL

It's very rare the adidas City Series has a brand new addition, but this year we seem to have one. Not only is the Warszawa brand new in name, the model is unique thanks to the curvy styled toe-box. The colourway is linked to the Polish capital through it's architecture.

Ibiza Reborn

Part of the came collection is the Adidas Yabisah, which is an old name for the island of Ibiza. The shoe itself is an Ibiza re-make of an Austrian vintage version, with some very minor differences. The white upper is made from a soft leather, making these ideal for a summer holiday.

ZX 602 inspired runners

The Adidas Spezial team love delving into the vintage running archive, and this year they pulled out the rare ZX 602 model, which was an offshoot to the ZX 600. Released originally for women only, the ZX 602 has been majorly re-worked for this 2022 version, including a changed upper and brand new colourway.

And finally.. the Carnforth SPZL return

The adidas Carnforth were one of the most popular shoes from the pre-spring Spezial collection back in February of 2022. We've been able to locate a few sizes, which is likely to be last set of these we'll be able to stock.
