DASSLERESALES

The Easter Bunny loses track of time - ZX 10,000 'Schokohase' arrive in July

In a surprising turn of events, the ZX 10,000 C 'Schokohase' land in our store for the summer months rather than Easter - at least the shoes aren't actually chocolate as they'd probably melt in this heat! Alongside the ZX we've got some usual summer styles new in stock this week with a lovely suede SL 72 'Dublin', and two new models of Tischtennis.

Chocolate bunnies are here

Any project imaginable and the Adidas team are all over it. For a special edition Easter treat, the design team took the normal ZX 10,000 C and turned it into a chocolate model. The upper is fully brown, there's a chocolate bunny motif on the heel and they even come in a 'gold foil' style box. Slightly crazy but lots of fun, there's no reason why these can't be worn year round.

Dublin style SL 72

Aside from the Dublin style colourway, this new pair of SL 72 are also noteworthy for featuring a full suede upper. The classic SL 72 have a nylon feel with suede overlays, but in our mind suede works just as well. The black and white EVA midsole thankfully remains unchanged.

And finally.. Tischtennis for two

One of the best summer trainers from Adidas over the last couple of years has been the Tischtennis. A very breathable mesh upper is paired with a thick gum sole and suede overlays. The first pair we've got is a more classic white variation, with red and silver canvas stripes.

The second version is a little different to the original, and is a sort of mash up between table tennis and cycling. The black model is based around a pair of 1980s cycling shoes worn by Eddy Merckx. The stripe placement and other irregularities are bound to split opinion but the lovely Tischtennis shape has been kept intact.
