adidas Spezial returns with a fantastic collection for SS26

It's felt like a long time since the last Spezial collection was launched back in November 2025, so it's great to be able to bring you the latest collection on the day of release. We've added all six of the footwear models together, and it's another all star looking line-up. There's a nice blend of re-visited classics such as the Burnden and Punstock, or completely new designs such as the Gralfy and Longridge.

Regarding the pricing - every pair is available at retail price. Unfortunately as the collection is brand new the pairs are excluded from the free standard delivery threshold of £100. So in order to make sure free delivery is still available for the rest of the website, a £5 surcharge has been added to the prices of all models over £100.

Topanga Regeneration

The first ever Spezial collection contained the Topanga SPZL, one of standout models from the initial release which has only grown in stature since. A couple of similar follow up designs such as the Lotherton have been made, and this Mendocino is the latest. Along with the new colourway, the new design has a rubber overlay over the toe-box, making them more durable.

Burnden SPZL Return

Another shoe that will be familiar to most is the Burnden SPZL, which was first released in 2021. As the original pair is very hard to get hold of now, the Spezial decided to revisit and update the trainer, as the 'wavy' eyestay is gone and a gum midsole has been added.

A New Suede Design

One of two designs that are completely new creations, the Gralfy SPZL feature a lovely olive green suede upper and dark gum midsole. In order to add a bit of variation with similar designs, the stripes have been given straight edges with a contrasting colour, and the toe-box has a wrap around overlay not usually found on this style of trainer.

Samoa II Re-run

It's very rare that the Spezial team sign off on the same shoe with a different colourway in consecutive releases, mainly because they don't know how well they will be received. They decided to take the punt with the Samoa II, and look to have been vindicated as the original pair have been popular. This navy and gold iteration is arguably better than the original as the colourway has been made famous by the SL 80 and Japanese Munchen.

Another US Style Runner

The second of the completely new designs is this Longridge SPZL, which follows in the footsteps of the Glenbuck and Silverbirch for being a US inspired vintage running hybrid. The Longridge are based around the 1987 adidas Madison, but with several changes. The colourway features subtle shades; there's green in the mesh and blue in the suede overlays that aren't clear from a first glance.

Stocking up on Punstock

Similarly to the Burnden, the Punstock are another shoe that have become so hard to find the Spezial team decided to do an updated version. The Punstock has stayed closer to the original, with the only big difference being the suede upper and lighter beige colour.

And finally.. a new bag!

Continuing with the theme of revisiting past collections, this Parbold Bag was first launched in 2020, featuring a white colour rather than black.

This is the only item from the apparel range for now but more items should be available in the near future, so don't go paying crazy money for anything!
