Celebrate Oasis Live 25' with Noel Gallagher's new signature Spezial

After a 16 hiatus, Oasis finally returned to the stage in 2025 and performed incredible shows all round the world. The comeback wouldn't be complete without some new footwear from their favourite trainer brand, so both Liam and Noel Gallagher were given the opportunity to help design a new creation for the adidas Spezial range. We're stocking both pairs, starting with the Marathon SPZL 'NG'.

Marathon SPZL 'NG'

There's only one new addition this week as we figured they would grab all the attention regardless. The Marathon SPZL 'NG' are the first Noel Gallagher endorsed trainer since the Garwen SPZL way back in 2017. They are based on one of Noel's personal favourites, the Marathon 85, although a few tweaks have been made from the original.

The most noticeable alteration from the original Marathon 85 is the toe-box, which has been re-worked into a 'T' toe overlay rather than the more traditional perforations. The other main change is the midsole, which has been raised slightly and had the 'scoop' insert removed for a more refined finish.

Materials wise, the shoe has a full suede upper including the toe-box overlays, leather stripes and an ecotex 'dimple' style tongue. As with all signature shoes the portrait of the endorser is shown at the top of the tongue, as well as a special 'Noel Gallagher' footbed.

Noel is clearly a fan of blue in his trainers as all three of his adidas creations have featured blue in some form, and this design features a two-tone palette similar to the Berlin City Series trainer. The pair come with a set of spare laces to match the white midsole and a white leather lining.
