More premium Gazelle Indoor plus two new SL 72

Our additions are perfectly symmetrical this week, with two new models of Gazelle Indoor Pro, and two new colourways of SL 72. As is often the case these days, there are differences in the design and materials between the pairs, so there's more variation than you might think. Nothing is beyond the reasonable price of £65 this week so there should be plenty to interest the everyday wearer crowd.

Go Pro with the Gazelle Indoor

As well as releasing countless variations of the original Gazelle Indoor, last year adidas started releasing a new 'Pro' version of the same shoe. Even those with a basic knowledge will see there's some clear design differences with the original, such as the new toe-box and heel overlay.

Alongside the re-designed silhouette, the material mix has been quite different to the norm as there's been a noticeable absence of suede with the Pro models. The above pair has a lovely all-nubuck material, whilst the teal version below features a mix of mesh and suede overlays.

And finally.. an OG and RS for the SL 72

Similarly with the Gazelle Pro, these two SL 72 are quite different in looks as well as feel. First up is this black version of SL 72 RS, which has the slightly thicker midsole. The other main difference is the use of Cordura in the upper, which has been well-loved since first used for adidas trainers around six years ago. With the material and the colourway, this SL 72 design is ideal for tricky weather and the occasional mud.

The second pair of SL 72 certainly won't be a good choice if mud is on the cards, but might be better suited to a holiday or some warmer domestic weather. This traditional pair of SL 72 has the usual nylon upper, but with the slight twist of printed three stripes in the pattern.
