DASSLERESALES

Cool Collaborations with the Campus, Gazelle and TRX

Those that have followed the adidas brand for a considerable amount of time will know they love a collaboration project, and we've added three of their most recent creations to the site this week. For collaborative work, the trainers tend to be models that are the most well known and visible, so it's no surprise to see the Gazelle 85, TRX Vintage and Campus given the nod. The final addition this week is a brand new pair of Handball Spezial, ideal for the spring weather.

adidas X Stark Industries

This collaboration may well be meaningless to some, in which case it's just another nice pair of Gazelle 85 with an ombre style stripe design. For those in the know, this model has been created with Marvel Studios and is inspired by the Iron Man series of films. The colourway comes from the worker's uniform inside Tony Stark's tech company.

adidas X Pop Trading Co.

Getting back to reality now, our second collaboration model is with Japanese based designer Pop Trading Company, who have bought us this slightly re-worked TRX Vintage. The nylon upper has been ditched for premium mesh with suede overlays, and the stripes are now leather. The 'TRX Vintage' labelling on the side has also disappeared, so you'll have to take our word that these are indeed TRX Vintage.

adidas X DayZ X Invincible

The final mash-up is with two external brands, which are DayZ from Tokyo and Invincible from Taiwan. They've come together to create a remarkable pair of Campus, which has a tweed style upper featuring black and white thread. The chequered pattern looks like a grey colour from a distance, and is completed with a white rubber midsole.

And finally.. yellow Handball Spezial

The Handball Spezial has really taken off over the last 12 months, which has resulted in a huge range of colours and designs produced. This model is slightly different from the norm by having a nylon upper with suede overlays, and the subtraction of the Spezial lettering on the side.
