Kicking into gear with the K 74 plus a Handball new Handball trio

The adidas Kick are one of the most iconic of all the retro adidas trainers, and they don't get anymore iconic than the classic black and white leather version. We've added this model to the site this week alongside a trio of new Handball Spezial, all of which have the slightly alternative cotton uppers. Nothing is over £60 this week so plenty of cheaper choices but still some great colourways to choose from.

The adidas Kick (or K 74 as they're now known for licensing reasons) were re-issued back in 2024 for the first time in a couple of decades, so unsurprisingly were very popular. There's been a big range of colourways released which we've had a handful of, but nothing compares to the classic black and white leather iteration that are full of nostalgia.

And finally.. and Handball selection

As the weather starts to warm up, now seems a more appropriate time to bring out the cotton versions of Handball Spezial, which we've got in two different forms. This first version has a 'weave' style material, which is flexible and bound to be comfortable. Although lightweight it is still robust enough to be worn in most weather conditions, but certainly as the colours suggest they aren't designed for the dark days of winter.

Alongside the white and blue pair, we've also added this very nice clear sky blue version that features white stripes. Both designs have the same medium coloured gum midsole, suede overlays and traditional 'round' Handball laces.

The final new pair of Handball Spezial is a bit different from the first two, as the material of choice is a cotton knit rather than weave. This material has been used previously on other models such as the Samba and Gazelle Indoor. Instead of suede overlays this sandy coloured design has used leather, which includes the heel overlay at the back.
