DASSLERESALES

More Gazelle Colourways, Burnden and Marathon TR Return

We've got a bit of a mix this week between more common items such as the two new colourways of Gazelle, and rarer pairs such as the Burnden SPZL & Marathon TR. Since the release of the 'World Cup Moments' pair we're stocking, there's been a few follow-up colourways of Marathon, which is great to see.

Canadian Style Gazelle

Adidas are making sure there is no Gazelle stone left unturned, with the recent arrival of these models with the fabric trefoil tongue. This style takes inspiration from the Canadian made Gazelle from the mid-1980s. The rest of the tongue is plain and made from nylon.

The rest of the Gazelle design is much the same as the standard '91' version we've seen throughout the last seven years. For the two colourways we're adding, both have the same cream white stripes and heel tab, along with an off-white midsole. The only difference is the main colour, which is shown on the suede, heel tab and tongue.

World Cup Marathon

As part of the celebration before the most recent World Cup, three pairs of trainers were released to pay homage to previous tournaments. The Marathon TR is inspired by the 2006 final between Italy and France, as shown by the predominantly blue colourway. The other main point of note is the suede upper, which is most unusual for a Marathon TR.

And finally a few more Burnden sizes

One of the more accessible Spezial releases, the Burnden arrived a couple of years ago and were clearly inspired by the iconic adidas Powerphase. As with all Spezial releases, a few tweaks have been made such as the 'curvy' eyestay.
