SS25 Spezial pt.1 featuring more TRX and the first apparel items

We gave you a little teaser a couple of weeks ago with a small batch of TRX Mesh SPZL for sale, which all sold quickly. They're now back in stock and they've bought some friends along from the items that sit alongside them in the SS25 SPZL range. We've added another footwear model through the Pampanga SPZL, and two popular clothing releases.

Let's get meshy again

Anything TRX related with a blue and yellow colourway is bound to set off the nostalgia for the 1980 film McVicar, which had a prominent feature for a TRX model in this colourway. For 2025, the shoe has been bought back for a Spezial collection with an EVA midsole, mesh upper and suede overlays. To keep things a bit unique, the last stripe overlaps with the overlay, which is inspired by a 2000 made pair of Marathon.

This next model is a new creation for SS25 SPZL, which is based around a vintage model called the adidas Squire. The Spezial team decided there were several aspects that could be improved in the original model, which has resulted in new tooling and a slightly re-worked upper. The name derives from an area of Manila, in the Philippines, which is where the original Squire was first manufactured under licence.

First fish tail parka

It's somewhat surprising there hasn't been a previous fishtail parka as part of a Spezial collection given their popularity within the adidas collecting scene, but now there is one! This is the Halewood SPZL, which was released in green and this black version for SS25 SPZL. The material is classic raincoat nylon, a breathable fabric ready for all elements especially given a hood is included too.

And finally.. another new t-shirt design

Most Spezial t-shirts are quite similar in design, but the design team are clearly doing a good job as they're always a popular item from the apparel range. This Brockhall t-shirt has come in two colours, a dark blue and this white version. The box logo on the front is embroidered and the shirt also features a printed mod trefoil on the back of the neck.
