The adidas Pampanga are loosely based around a vintage training shoe called the adidas Squire, which was made under licence in the Philippines. The upper has been changed around a bit mostly looks like the original, and the EVA tooling has been altered slightly with the help of 3-D printing. The name derives from an area of Manila in the Philippines, which is where the original shoe was manufactured.
