Our star of the show this week is the recently re-issued adidas Japan OG, which has made a comeback for 2024 with a nice range of colourways introduced. A more regularly re-issued is the adidas Hamburg, which we're now stocking in the Dublin colourway. Finally, the Gazelle 85 are back in two of the older colourways, including the popular lilac edition.
1964 Original back in Production
This year marks 60 years since the first adidas Japan was released, as part of a collection made for the Tokyo summer Olympics in Japan. This current re-issue is a real cracker, which features a soft tumbled leather upper and suede overlays. As this is primarily a women's re-issue, bigger sizes have been harder to get hold of but we've managed to get a small run of men's sizes.
Dublin inspired Hamburg
The famous Dublin colourway looks good regardless of whether it's been put on the Dublin shoe or another model, such as this Hamburg. The Hamburg are another trainer from the 'W' collection, but again we've acquired a limited run of bigger sizes.
And finally.. a double up of Gazelle 85
Our two models of Gazelle 85 this week are both from last year and aren't the easiest to get hold of now. The lilac/white version were one of the first colourways to be produced of the slightly superior '85' iteration. The re-worked foxing and thicker outsole is the main difference between the 85 and 91 Gazelle re-issues.
Just to make you confused, adidas released two versions of Gazelle 85 in green, both of which are almost identical in colour. This version is the second of the two, which has a green trefoil on the heel tab rather than a white one which is used on the 'semi-court' green Gazelle 85. Limited sizes of the that version are still available in our shop.
