The second coming of Blackburn SPZL plus Marathon TR collaboration

The diversity is strong with this week's collection, as there's a balance of two suede trainers and two vintage runners. All four models are brand new to the site, and include the re-issue of Blackburn SPZL from the recent Spezial decade anniversary. We've also got runners through the Marathon TR and Atlanta, plus another Gazelle Indoor colourway for good measure.

The first Blackburn SPZL was only released 5 years ago in 2019, so to see the shoe back in 2024 was a surprise but also shows how popular the original was. This updated pair has been changed around the edges without altering the fundamentals. Gold decals are present on both heels, the tongue colour has changed as well as the lace material.

Even more Gazelle Indoor

It's been quite a marathon of Gazelle Indoor colourways over the last few weeks, and this brown version follows the same pattern of having alternate stripe colours. This design also features a full suede upper rather than the synthetic material. Available in both men's and women's sizes.

An Iron Man Marathon

This collaboration model of Marathon TR is the second trainer we've stocked from the adidas X Marvel collection, which has used Stark Enterprises from the Iron Man series as inspiration. Aside from the branding, the most noticeable difference between this model and the standard Marathon TR is the textured rubber above the tooling, which adds a more industrious feel to the shoe.

More marathons through the Atlanta

From the Marathon trainer to a pair inspired by marathon runners! This model of Atlanta pays homage to Kathrine Switzer, who in 1967 ran the Boston Marathon despite being told that as a woman she wasn't allowed to enter. She ended up running by giving her name as 'K.V' rather than Kathrine, and got a man to pick up her running bib. The number 261 on the tongue is the number she wore on that day.
