The basis of the A.Aspden SPZL is a vintage leisure shoe called Las Palmas, which featured a white version of the Hawaii tooling. This has been kept for the Aspden SPZL, but the colour has been altered to off-white. The other main change is the signature located above the middle stripe, which is the signature of Gary Aspden's late father.
