The Adidas Alderley are based on an archival pair of Adidas court shoe, which has never actually been launched. This trainer was used as a base for things like the mesh upper and perforated toe-box, but the blue stripes on the original have been replaced with a solid piece of mesh. The white rubber sole is not too dissimilar to that of the Topanga, although the foxing has been altered somewhat. A classic summer trainer and an ideal follow up to the Lacombe, which became a Spezial regular.
