Adidas Mexicana 'Day of the Dead'

When adidas bought back the original version of the Mexicana, they couldn't help but make a follow-up version with even closer ties to Mexico. The Day of the Dead or 'Dia de los Muertos' is a celebration in Mexico following All Souls Day, which takes place on the first two days of November. The marigold flower is traditionally used to honour the dead as part of the celebrations, which is shown on the tongue of the shoe and on the special edition box.
