This model of Mexicana go back a long way, all the way to the 1960s in fact. This version was a prototype of the Mexicana shoe that was actually released a bit later in 1972, which has the iconic golden colourway. The details have been mostly kept the same, aside from the vibrant green upper the main change is the silver lettering instead of gold.
