For the SPZL F.C X LFC trainers, the design team opted to go back over ten years to the Kirkdale SPZL, an iconic model from one of the very early Spezial launches. The upper pattern has changed slightly from the original design, but the webbed midsole and mesh materials have stayed the same. There is a Liver Bird LFC logo on one of the woven tongues, and a Spezial mod trefoil on the other.
