The Hartness SPZL are based around a vintage all-terrain runner from 1987, which was originally made in Yugoslavia. For the re-issue, the original tooling wasn't an option so it's been slightly re-worked, and the other main addition is the popular adi-tex membrane to line the shoe. The upper is mostly leather with mesh used for the toe-box.
