Adidas Japan X JFA 'Away'

To help bring the 2026 World Cup to life, adidas launched a collection of trainers inspired by the kits of the country that the shoe is named after. They first did a round of 'home' trainers, and then shortly after released a new batch of 'away' trainers. This model of adidas Japan features the same coloured vertical stripes shown on their away kit, which aims to signify unity. On the shirt version, there are 11 stripes to represent 11 players on the pitch, plus a central red stripe as a nod to the Japanese 'rising sun' flag.
