Unsurprisingly, the SL 72 originates from 1972, the first of a series of three trainers with 'Super Light' in the name. Designed as a running trainer, the shoe has a mostly nylon upper and suede overlays, as well as an EVA sole unit. This colourway is probably the most well-known and traditional looking- blue with white leather stripes and a flash of red.
