The 1972 classic is back, and for the 2024 version there has been a noticeable change to the midsole compared to the normal SL 72, in that it's about a centimetre thicker. This version of the RS is slightly different to the norm by featuring a woven mesh upper, rather than the usual nylon, which is a more practical material.
