The Adidas ZX 420 will always be remembered as the last of the ZX models launched under the original 1980s structure. The shoe fits the mould of that era, by having a mostly mesh upper and synthetic suede overlays, as well as an EVA midsole. Rarely seen on the re-issue pile, the latest ZX 420 made a comeback in 2021 and has seen a lot of colourways launched since.
