The adidas Japan are one of the older vintage trainers to have multiple re-issues in the modern day, as the original was first released in 1964 for the Tokyo Olympics. Most of the current re-issue crop feature a tumbled leather upper, whereas this pair has a smooth leather which includes the overlays. Just like the original model the rubber midsole is very thin for a low profile design.
